City of Houston Down Payment Assistance

The City of Houston offers a variety of down payment assistance programs. The amount of assistance depends on income, price of the home and the area. Innerloop Mortgage Company is a Affordable Participating Lender with the City of Houston.

The standard assistance is $10,000 and the price of the house must be under $135,000. There are income limits to this program. For more details, go to www.houstonhousing.org.

There are a variety of first time homebuyer programs ( or presently do not own a home ) that offer easier underwriting guidelines for credit and income issues. These are a case by case basis and contact George Balla for more information.
